I picked up this over-branded Star WarsTM Pizza Hut® Doritos® product in 1997. Only two years later it seemed strangely mundane. But when I first saw this bag of chips it just seemed like too many brands and logos on one bag for me to absorb. Also, Star Wars never fit in with my perception of the Pepsi aesthetic (discussed elswhere on this site). That is, until The Phantom Menace was released. That Lucas spectacle seemed to go quite well with garishly designed Pepsi cans and fake tacos. And speaking of fake tacos:
