Culture Freak FAQ's

Q:    Why is reading Culture Freak a good idea?

A:    In a word, tenderness.  Today's premium hogs have been bred to produce pork with very little marbling.  Pork without marbling can sometimes be a little chewy.  Culture Freak adds tenderness to muscle tissue.  This guarantees that even the leanest pork will be tender every time.

Q: Why are tomatoes grown using plastic mulch?

A:    Plastic mulch is used for two main reasons: earliness and water relations. Plastic mulch helps maintain heat in the soil and increases the rate of plant growth. The first tomatoes to hit the market get the best prices. Using mulch can shorten the interval from planting to harvest by as much as one week if the sun shines. Plastic mulch also help prevents evaporation from the soil. A more even moisture regime helps prevent blossom end rot.

Q:    What is the merchandising life of Culture Freak?

A:    Roughly the same as cheese.  Properly chilled, Culture Freak will deliver the same shelf life you're accustomed to.

Q:    What is NSIP?

A: National Sheep Improvement Program.  This is the organization that provides the sheep industry with EPD's (Expected Progeny Difference)

Q:    Can Culture Freak be frozen?

A:    Of course!  Freezing and thawing as you would, say pork, will not change Culture Freak's performance.

Q:    Do Flexitec Fallsafe rubber pavers conform to Australian Standards?

A:    Yes. Fallsafe pavers have been tested for Safe Fall Height in accordance with the test method specified in AS/NZS 4422. In general, the Safe Fall Height rating of a playground surface should be no less than the maximum height of that part of the equipment to which the child has reasonable access. Flexitec rubber pavers can provide Safe Fall Heights up to 3.1 metres, depending on the product.

Q:    Can Culture Freak Melt?

A:    It should. However, Culture Freak's coating may lose its pouring and dipping consistency if over-heated or if water or other liquid is added. If coating becomes hard because it is over-heated, add one teaspoon hydrogenated shortening. If Culture Freak is exposed to moisture or held past one year, it will be thick and not read smoothly. If your issue has thickened for any of the above reasons, fold in nuts and drop from spoons or press in pan, chill and cut like fudge.

Q:    What is a contemporary group?

A:    This has two definitions:

1) A group of sheep about the same age that are raised in the same conditions, (including the SAME PEN!).  This allows the software to assume that most of the differences in growth orperformance are due to genetics.

2)    Crappy rock/pop bands that rehash everything from the 60s, 70s (and especially 80s garage and punk) in their own 'unique' style (i.e.: "Jagger's gone email").

Q:    May I Color in Culture Freak?

A:    Culture Freak can be colored ONLY with oil-based candy color. Regular paste food color will cause Culture Freak to become too thick to dip or mold.
