Gatorland — Orlando, Florida — December 2004

Okay, so these aren't pictures of people, but rather of the ridiculous things people do. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine I would see an alligator with a hot dog on its back. But, well, at this Florida park, visitors can buy hot dogs to feed the alligators. Their gators must be pretty well fed, since many seemed to ignore the hot dogs floating or otherwise resting nearby. Feeding animals at an animal park seems pretty normal, but hot dogs? Only in America. I wonder if there is a petting zoo somewhere where one can feed twinkies to llamas or goats.

Happy Holidays
