The Europeans have us Yankees pegged sometimes. We like sugar and we like it nonstop. I picked up this item in Amsterdam in March 2000. I guess chocolate chip cookies are pretty much an American phenomenon, because these were the only ones I could find in the whole country.

  Update: August, 2005 -- I did a Google search for these cookies and this is the only reference I could find in English. Most other references were from folks writing in European web forums, like this one from Jodeflo in Rotterdam, who says they are her favorite cookie.
